Snowstorm Does Not Necessarily Mean Productivity
I have had the last two days off from work due to a major snow storm that is sweeping our area. Tomorrow will be day three. Got a lot of writing done, you ask? Well, actually...no. I hope Bane (he tells the second part of the story) will forgive me but I just cannot get into his book right now. Sad, but true. I just read through the proof copy that the publisher sent me and that pushed me over the edge I think. Usually, it takes me a few hours to read 232 pages of a book but it actually took me four days this time. When the hardcover version showed up this afternoon it went right onto the shelf. Just give me five years or so and maybe I'll be able to face Dev's book again. In the meantime, I am taking a short break away so that when I come back I won't be tempted to plug my ears and yell "la la la la la" whenever Bane tries to tell his story. I love you, Bane. I honestly do, but Dev has drained me. Sorry.
