Twice As Deadly Goes to Cover Copy Polish

Yesterday I sent in my final draft of the manuscript (thanks Sally for being so quick about this!) and it is currently in cover copy polish and editing. This could take up to two weeks but I see no reason why it should not be faster since they will not need a new photo (use the last one, I have not changed that much in two years!) and the type will be the same as the last book (might as well keep it uniform.) It is only the marketing text that may need some tinkering. Then they work on my cover, then one more round of editing by yours truly, and I am hoping for a new book by the end of August beginning of September! I am going to be at the Heritage Festival in St. Marys on Saturday, July 14th at Milt Dunnell Fields selling copies of Definitely Deadly and promoting Twice As Deadly. Wish I could have a copy of the cover before then but one cannot have everything. I will have to make something up! I am good at that! :D
